Computing Vision

Our children are immersed in a digital world, the era of computing continuously evolves and consumes our daily lives. We aim to equip knowledge and skills that prepare for future education and to be work-place ready. Computing builds confidence in using multiple disciplines; develop problem solving and present information on a wide range of media platforms for a wide target audience.

Our aim at Stoke High School is to:
To prepare young people for a digital world, developing their digital skills and reduce the digital divide in society.
Empower young people to make positive decisions when using technology: to exchange, collaborate and present information.
Be workplace ready and able to use tools and software effectively, to exchange, share and present. In addition, develop a richer experience understanding the importance of computing and the science behind it.
