University of Suffolk’s NEACO project offers pre-designed and time scaled programmes that work with a range of students who may be classed by the Office for Students as ‘underrepresented’ in education. This includes, for example, students who are Free School Meal, who may be care experienced, or who may live in an IMDQ1 postcode. The development of such programmes has been based on research and form an evidenced-based approach to working. They have been designed for students in years 7-11, and support in developing skills to assist in the raising of attainment within schools.
