Early Closure 24th September 2026

Re: Years 7 – 10 Early Finish, Thursday 24th September 2026

I am writing to notify you that, on Thursday 24th September, the school will close to students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 at 2.05pm. This is due to our Year 6 Open Evening taking place that day from 3.30pm. Lessons will take place as usual for Periods 1 to 4 and students will still go to lunch as normal. Students should either be collected or make their way home at 2.05pm to allow us to set up and prepare for the Open Evening.

The early closure does not apply to Year 11 students; they will attend lessons as usual on 24th September for the whole day although #6 sessions will not run.

Should this early closure cause a problem for you, please do contact us to discuss individual circumstances and we will make arrangements to accommodate your child in school if necessary.
